A bit about me.
I was born in New Zealand in 1975, so my family moved to England in 1979. 1987 marked significant upheaval as my parents parted ways. My father moved to Australia, and in 1989, I followed him.
We lived in the Victorian town of Frankston, where I attended Karingal Secondary College. I then studied nursing at Monash University Peninsula. Over the past 24 years, I've ventured into various nursing fields, earning a Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing (emergency), a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Nursing, and a Certificate in Alcohol and other drugs. Much of my career was spent in the Emergency Department. However, I have also spent time in Forensic Mental Health, Respiratory High Dependency, Mental Health, and community nursing.
I live in Bendigo, Victoria, with my wife Angela, our three children, and a lively menagerie of chickens, dogs, and cats.
Writing is my stress release. I also enjoy bird watching, music, reading, and stage acting, which enables me to experience different characters. Last year, I was nominated for Best Actor in a Small Role for my performance as ‘Unexpected Cop’ in Synchronicity’s production of ‘Clue’. This year, I have been nominated for best-supporting actor in Synchronicity’s ‘A Vintage Death.' The Victorian Drama League awarded both.
